Landing Page vs. Website: Which Do You Actually Need?

We get this question on almost every discovery call: do I need a full website, or just a landing page? The honest answer depends on what you're trying to do.

A landing page is built around a single offer and a single action — book a call, claim a promotion, request a quote. It strips away navigation and distraction so traffic from a specific campaign converts at the highest possible rate.

A business website is built to represent your whole business — services, credibility, team, location, and a path to contact for many different kinds of visitors, from cold search traffic to a referral checking you out before calling.

If you're running a specific ad campaign or seasonal promotion, a landing page will almost always outperform sending that traffic to your homepage. If you're building long-term credibility and organic search visibility, you need a full site.

Many of our clients end up with both: a business website as their home base, and dedicated landing pages for specific campaigns that link back into the broader site.
